My artistic practice revolves around the study of creation forms rooted in abstract expressionism, where the subconscious mind takes precedence. Throughout my works, I have consistently explored the theme of 'emotion,' delving into its multifaceted possibilities. In the creative process, I have focused on expressing emotions through the juxtaposition of contradictions, drawing inspiration from process philosophy and existentialism. My aim is to visually integrate the controllable and uncontrollable, the perfect and imperfect, all within the realm of emotion.
The work I submitted combines abstract expressional painting with installation art. The artwork titled 'Emotional Radius,' serves as an exploration of emotions, the complexity of relationships, and the resilience born from trauma. Through metaphorical representation, the act of collage encapsulates the process of incorporating these elements into the artwork.
The installation itself, with its abstract expression, broken plastic sheeting, and the interconnection between painting and resin installation, signifies an exploration of perception. The broken plastic film acts as a barrier or filter, offering a specific angle through which viewers can perceive the abstract representation. This interaction between diverse materials and layers symbolizes the intricate nature of human perception and how our emotions influence our understanding of the world.
